Hiya! I’m a molecular and cellular biology major with a passion for art and creativity. Photography is easily one of my favorite things to do and I love to collaborate with other photographers to explore new concepts and locations. From department stores to Urban Outfitters to thrift shops, I’m always on the lookout for unique pieces to add to my wardrobe. Fashion is another quick and easy way that I like to express myself. I’m excited to work with those who share my passions!
Hi, my name is Joodh (pronounced Jude). I’m a junior from Lutherville, MD majoring in molecular and cellular biology. While I spend most of my classtime in STEM related courses, I keep my passion for the arts alive outside of class through photography and more recently videography. So I am very excited to combine my love for photography and fashion as a member of marque magazine’s photography team!
I’m looking forward to producing our magazine this semester!
I’ve been interested in fashion since I was a little girl. From the age of 6 when I started making clothes for my stuffed animals to 12 when I made my first dress, there has never been anything more satisfying for me than taking my creativity and using it to produce a visually pleasing piece of art. When I got into high school, I began trying photography and I fell in love. Marque twists together my love for fashion and photography into one all encompassing experience and I am so excited to be a photographer for them!
Hi, I’m Nela and I’m from Fort Collins, CO. I’m a sophomore at Hopkins studying biomedical engineering and electrical engineering. I use portrait photography as a creative outlet, and I enjoy capturing the beauty of individuals. Outside of Marque, you can find me in ballet or doing research at JHH.
Hi! My name is Pamina and I’m a freshman studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I love going thrifting, which is where I get a lot of my fashion inspiration from. I have also loved photography from a young age, as I grew up with my dad constantly taking photos; photography serves as a sort of creative outlet for me that also allows me to hone my observation skills and therefore notice the intentional details in fashion and learn to emulate them in my own life, while also adopting them to my own personal style.
